Management toolCustom business software adapts its screens, access rights and features to your company's actual processes. Your teams work in an application designed for their needs, with artificial intelligence only where it delivers a concrete benefit.
Custom business software is designed around the way your company actually works: your roles, data, rules and the screens your teams need. It can replace hard-to-maintain files, extend an existing application or provide a new service to your customers. AI is added only where it creates a concrete operational benefit.
Custom software development becomes relevant when a spreadsheet or off-the-shelf product no longer fits your processes. These are the most common business application use cases.

Back-officeCustom business software follows your organisation rather than imposing a new one. Screens reflect each process, access rights match your roles and your business data remains under your control.
Hosting, backups and access conditions are agreed with you before development starts.
A business application used every day has to evolve with your teams, processes and volumes. After go-live, we handle technical maintenance, monitor how it is used and gradually build the new features you prioritise.
Updates, fixes and availability monitoring.
Requests are prioritised, estimated, then built in stages.
Onboarding for newcomers and feedback from real use.
Hosting, storage and external services stay costed and visible.
Tell us how your team works today and where existing tools fall short. We assess whether custom development is justified or whether an existing product can meet the need.
In many cases an off-the-shelf product is enough, and we say so. Custom work is justified when your way of working is specific, when several tools should be connected, or when no product covers the core path of your activity.
That is the approach we recommend. A first version covers the most useful path, is tested by its users, then extended. It limits risk and makes trade-offs concrete.
Ownership, hosting and exit conditions are written into the proposal before work starts, along with the scope and each party's responsibilities.
No. We first check what can be retained or connected. Custom development focuses on workflows that justify it.
Yes, subject to feasibility. We also need to define access rights, volumes, usage costs, support and responsibilities towards end users.
Yes. An AI solution relies on paid services — AI models, hosting, automation platforms, software connections — billed by subscription for as long as it runs. Synode never absorbs these costs. You choose: either you take our support service and we handle running, monitoring and maintenance for a recurring payment set out in the contract; or you do not, the solution is delivered and deployed, and you subscribe to and pay those services directly with the providers. In both cases the amounts are estimated before work starts.
